Privacy Policy – Mythos Wars

ZUGA (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the mobile game Mythos Wars (the “Game”).

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use Mythos Wars, including information processed by third-party services used to provide advertising and related functionality.

1. Information stored by Mythos Wars

Mythos Wars stores certain game information locally on your device so that the Game can save your progress and preferences. This may include:

  • in-game coins;

  • unlocked cards;

  • purchased in-game items;

  • decks and selected cards;

  • campaign progress;

  • tutorial progress; and

  • music and sound settings.

This game-progress information is stored locally on your device. Mythos Wars does not currently provide cloud saves or transmit this locally stored game-progress data to a ZUGA server.

Mythos Wars V1.0 does not require you to create an online account and does not ask you to provide your name, email address, password, date of birth, or precise location.

2. Advertising

Mythos Wars uses Google AdMob, a service provided by Google, to display rewarded advertisements.

When you choose to watch a rewarded advertisement, Google and its advertising partners may collect or process information such as:

  • IP address;

  • advertising identifiers and other device identifiers;

  • device and operating-system information;

  • app information;

  • advertising interactions, such as ad impressions and engagement; and

  • information used to deliver, measure, secure, and personalize advertising where permitted.

The exact information processed by Google may depend on your device, region, privacy choices, and Google's services and policies.

Mythos Wars does not receive your advertising identifier for the purpose of creating its own advertising profile or user account.

3. Consent and privacy choices

Mythos Wars uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to manage applicable advertising consent and privacy choices.

In regions where consent or privacy choices are required, you may be presented with a Google consent message that allows you to make choices regarding the processing of your information for advertising purposes.

Where applicable, you can review or change those choices later through the Privacy choices option available in the Game.

Your available choices and the way advertising data is processed may vary depending on your region and applicable law.

4. Third-party services

Mythos Wars currently uses the following third-party services that are relevant to privacy:

Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads — used to provide and measure rewarded advertising.

Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) — used to obtain and manage applicable advertising consent and privacy choices.

These services are operated by Google and are subject to Google's own terms and privacy policies.

Mythos Wars does not currently use Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics for Firebase, Unity Analytics, Unity Ads, or third-party crash-reporting services.

5. Sharing feature

Mythos Wars may allow you to share information about the Game using your device's standard Android sharing interface.

If you choose to use this feature, the Game passes promotional text and a store link to the Android share interface. Mythos Wars does not upload the contents of that share to a ZUGA server.

Any application you choose as the destination for your share may process the information according to that application's own privacy policy.

6. External links

Mythos Wars may contain links that open external websites or Google Play pages in your device's browser or other applications.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party websites or services. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.

7. Device permissions and identifiers

Mythos Wars itself does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, files, precise location, phone calls, SMS messages, or Bluetooth devices.

The Google advertising services included in the Game may use Internet/network access, advertising identifiers, and Android advertising technologies for purposes such as delivering, measuring, preventing fraud in, and personalizing advertisements where permitted.

8. Children's privacy

Mythos Wars is not specifically designed or directed to children under 13.

We do not knowingly request personal information such as a child's name, email address, or age through Mythos Wars.

If you believe that a child has provided personal information directly to us, please contact us so that we can review the situation and take appropriate action.

9. Data security

We take reasonable measures to protect information handled directly by Mythos Wars. Local game-save information is stored on the user's device.

No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Third-party services such as Google process information according to their own security practices and privacy policies.

10. Data retention and deletion

Game-progress data maintained directly by Mythos Wars is stored locally on your device rather than in a ZUGA cloud account.

Because Mythos Wars V1.0 does not operate an online player account or cloud-save system, ZUGA does not maintain a server-side Mythos Wars account containing your local game progress.

Removing the Game and its local application data may remove locally stored game progress, subject to the behavior of your device and operating system.

Information processed independently by Google or another third-party service is subject to that provider's applicable retention and deletion policies.

11. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, including when features, advertising services, legal requirements, or data practices change.

When we update this policy, we will revise the “Last updated” date shown at the top of this page.

We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
